Who You Are

You're a self-starter. You enjoy travelling; meeting with new people and businesses in USA and Canada but most importantly you love mentoring, coaching, educating and inspiring technicians to use the most advanced air sealing technology which guarantees results.

 

What You'll Do

As a technical trainer you will be primarily responsible for technical onboarding of install technicians working for Aeroseal's service providers. The successful candidate should be hands-on and have a strong understanding of Residential HVAC duct systems, various components installed in duct work and also the various systems & components used in the building construction industry. The candidate should also demonstrate proficiency in customer service via phone, email, and good presentation skills.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Technical onboarding of new Customers. This includes conducting both a class room presentation and actually demonstrating to customer's technicians the proper techniques to apply Aeroseal technologies onto a home.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and application knowledge.
  • Perform troubleshooting on the phone and repairs in the shop as needed.
  • Plan and execute all activities associated with sealing ductwork or air sealing building envelopes.

 

Experience You'll Need to Do It

You must be comfortable with a high level of ownership, customer service and have a passion and patience to coach and train technicians.

 

  • Should be detail-oriented with good verbal communication and hands-on technical skills.
  • Should enjoy coaching or training others on technical products.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of computers, Microsoft office suite (power-point, Word).
  • Prior training or coaching experience to HVAC technicians or similar technical training preferred.
  • BPI or equivalent certification in building sciences or indoor air quality preferred
  • prior technical trade experience in any one of construction, HVAC industry, home performance, duct improvement fields required
  • Ability to travel on an average 75%
